Valle de Oro is located at the far south end of 2nd Street, about 5 miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico. If you come by I-25, exit at Rio Bravo going west. Turn south at the third light which will be 2nd Street. Continue south for approximately 3.5 miles. When the road makes a turn across the railroad tracks do not follow it - continue on the straight, older road. Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge is located on the right hand side about a quarter mile further.
